The Studio

So if this were an episode of MTV Cribs right now I'd probably say something like "this is where the magic happens". But this isn't MTV Cribs and the "magic" isn't copius amounts of drugs, alcohol and borderline rape. In fact it's only most of time one of those things and once in a while two of those things, but the second of those things has everything to do with how much of the first thing is consumed, you dig? Truthfuly, it's not magic at all. It's just a couple of dudes sitting down with a few more than a couple brews and bullshiting about video games for an hour or two. We're not games "journalists" and we don't take gaming TOO seriously. Gaming has just always been apart of our lives and we actually enjoy talking about it. We hope we can blend our sense of humor in with our games talk and make every episode into something interesting that somebody might actually like to listen to. And if not.... well that's ok too. We're not for everybody. But We're pretty damn responsive to our fans and we love the ones we have. You might be thinking "these guys are too old, they probably suck at games!" Well if you ever want to put our skills to the test check out each of our profiles to find a way to get in touch because we're always up for a challenge. You might be suprised. The first episode of Tetris Effect was recorded on March 15, 2008 and we'll keep doing them until the beer runs out.... or it's just not fun anymore.

But how could that happen?!? We surround ourselves with our favorite geeky things.... action figures, art work, and technology which all remind us one thing. We freakin' love to game. We're of the opinion that it's not lame to game no matter how old you are.

It's a JOKE! We love to joke around but we try and keep the podcast somewhat on the advertised topic of gaming. There is absolutely nothing which is out of bounds to us so if raunchy, immature and sophmoric humor is not your thing then you may just want to keep moving on. We're just regular guys, with regular jobs. And every two or three weeks we'll sit down in this techno-haven jampacked with microphones, surrounded by various elements of geek culture, and most importantly with plenty of beers in hand to record some thoughts on what's going on in gaming. We're completely self sufficient. We pay for our equipment ourselves and pay for our hosting. We do our own editing and built our own shity little web page. And that's pretty much the way we like it. So have a listen, tune in live, send us a quick message via email or twitter. Connect to our Ventrilo server or Xbox Live and have a quick game with us. We're always playing something!
